My only disappointment was the ending. Due to responsibilities, we are gradually drifting away from everything, including family dinners, face to face greetings and most importantly, we are drifting away from ourselves. This new social network divides the ravaged dreamland into territories ruled by the Pirates, the ShopGirls, the Freaks, and the Mole People. This is an engrossing book that had the right amount of mystery and suspense. Astrid doesn't remember much about her childhood, at least not before her parents death. (As a side note: Hastings does not appear in all of the Poirot novels). The main issue I see here is me: I am not the ideal target reader for this book, as I felt I knew a lot of what was in here. Lots of funny moments and original ideas.
